Reservations for each season’s events will go “live” at 8:00 am on the first business day of that year.

General Info

  • Reserving an RV or Carport space provides you three things:
    1. An assigned, reserved space in the paddock
    2. Electrical power
    3. Carports provide covered workspace with a smooth concrete floor
  • All 20A duplex outlets are NEMA 5-15 configuration
  • All 30A RV outlets are NEMA TT-30 configuration
  • All 50A RV outlets are NEMA 14-50 configuration
  • Because we must truck in all of our water, at this time there is no other running water (for filling buckets, RV’s, washing cars, etc) at HPR.  There is a KOA located 20 minutes away in Strasburg where you can fill/dump for a small fee.

Terms

  • Overnight use/occupancy must be prearranged and the overnight gate attendant fee paid for either by the host club or any individual RV/Carport space renter.  MOST of the time the weekend host club pays the fee for the gate attendant on Friday and Saturday nights.  Please consult the HPR Event Calendar and/or the event registrar for your event to confirm that overnight use is available on the night you plan to stay.  Nights listed as “Gates open 24 hours” on the HPR Event Calendar are the only nights where you may stay in the paddock overnight.
  • Reservations made through our online system for a multi-day event are for the “weekend”.  A “weekend” is defined as from the time the gates open either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning (per the event calendar) until the gates close on Sunday, or the conclusion of that particular event.  The space is yours for that entire weekend, you may come and go as you please but refunds will not be given for partial use.  The “weekend” rental includes use of the space during the lapping days on the Thursday and/or Friday preceding the weekend event.
  • Reservations made for a stand alone lapping day (ie, lapping days that do not precede a weekend club event) are for that day only.

Camping without an RV/Carport Reservation

  • Tent camping, car camping, or “dry” RV camping is allowed in the paddock without any reservations on any nights when the gates/paddock are open 24 hours.
  • If the event calendar does not indicate that the paddock is open for camping on a particular night then no one will be allowed to stay in the paddock after the gates close.  You are welcome to dry camp on the 1/4 mile entry road outside the gate.
  • All paddock space other than reserved RV and Carport spaces are first come, first serve.
  • Long rigs should be oriented North-South, the same as the reserved RV/Carport spaces.  Rigs oriented East-West will be told to move if paddock space becomes scarce.
  • If you are camped/parked outside of the RV/Carport areas you may not run extension cords across the asphalt to share power.
