On August 3rd, 2013, High Plains Raceway will hold the first annual "Pony Express Enduro".
The name of the race comes from a new type of class that will be available to teams who can't decide which of their individual cars to run. In addition to the traditional enduro classes, where a single car is driven by many drivers, there will also be a "Pony Express" class, where each member of the team drives their own vehicle and a single transponder is passed like a baton from car to car.
The race will be open to any and all competitors who possess a valid amateur or professional competition license from any of the CAMA member clubs, or other widely recognized clubs such as NASA. The class structures will be based directly on the rules of the same clubs. The inaugural event will consist of a 10 hour race that will be contested entirely during daylight hours.
The best part is that your fully paid entry includes lapping day time prior to the race! Each Pony Express driver gets one FREE lapping day with a paid entry, and the Single Car teams get up to three FREE days, depending on when the entry is paid! The earlier you enter, the more days you get, check the Schedule and Race Regulations pdfs below for more details.
