The Capital Campaign for HPR is entering its final stages. The combination of tremendous support from Founding Contributors and progress on the loan program means we are fast approaching the funding required to begin construction. The "reality" of HPR is now underscored by two very important events in January, 2008. First, on January 23rd the USR application for HPR was unanimously approved by the Arapahoe County Commissioners. Then on January 31st, CAMA closed on their option to purchase the land. So, we now own the land and have the necessary permits to start the project. Read more about these two very key events in the Feb. 3rd "What's Happening at CAMA" on the News Release section of this website.
For potential donors and supporters awaiting these key developments, it is now time to step up and become a Founding Contributor. It doesn't get any more "real" than this.

Located on 460 rolling acres and a short drive from Denver, High Plains Raceway promises decades of fulfillment for your need for speed. The site is under purchase option, the zoning process is nearly complete, and the bulldozers, graders, and pavers are ready to roll. With your support, High Plains Raceway will soon be the West's newest road course open to amateur motorsports enthusiasts. It's now up to you to make it happen!
We're raising one million dollars from people just like you - but you don't have to be a millionaire to be a Founding Contributor to High Plains Raceway.
- A set of track tires - $800
- One of those very looong trips you've been taking to get some seat time the last couple summers - $300-600
- But...driving on a great track all day and sleeping in your own bed - Priceless!!!
This is a one-time contribution - you're helping to build a track we can be proud of and we're not going to hit you up again! Perhaps, if some specific special project (beyond the scope of Phase I) should arises which the regular cash flow couldn't afford, there could be another campaign.
When your gift of any amount is received, you'll be sent a Founding Contributor Decal, suitable for display on your car, bike, or trailer. This season, and for years to come, people will know you helped get the High Plains Raceway started!
Founding Contributors of any amount will also be recognized with a Founding Contributor Patch for your race suit or jacket and will receive an exclusive invitation to the Opening Day Gala.
In addition, Green Flag Contributors ($1,000-2,499) will be recognized with a 4"x 8" inscribed brick on Founders Court, a gathering area right in the High Plains paddock. Silver Patrons ($2,500-$4,999) will be recognized with an 8"x 8" brick. Gold Patrons ($5,000-$9,999) will be recognized with a 12"x 12" brick.
Gold Patrons and Grand Prix Patrons ($10,000 and above) will also be invited to drive and ride at special track Preview Days. And Grand Prix Patrons will be recognized with a prominent bronze plaque permanently displayed at the Raceway.
Each club is aiming to win the prize for highest percentage of members giving to the Capital Campaign for High Plains Raceway, so make sure to properly attribute your contribution to your club. This is a unique and important opportunity - to be part of a facility owned by amateur motorsports clubs and made possible by you, the members.
Your contribution to the Capital Campaign for High Plains Raceway is an important part of a diverse funding plan for the track. Our new facility will be built through contributions from individuals and businesses, sponsorships, and substantial investment from each club represented in CAMA. This ensures that High Plains Raceway, unlike a private club, will be available, financially stable and accountable. It also means this track will always be open to the many of us who love to race, rather than to an elite few.

CAMA is a coalition comprised of the Motorcycle Racing Association (MRA), the Porsche Club of America-Rocky Mountain Region (PCA-RMR), Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing (RMVR), Colorado Region, Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and the Multi-Car Club Alliance (MCCA). MCCA members are: the Alfa Romeo Club of Colorado; Audi Club; BMWCCA, Rocky Mountain Chapter; Colorado Exotic Car Association (CECA); Lotus Colorado; Mercedes Benz Club of America, Mile-High Section; Viper Club, Colorado Region; and the Z-Car Club of Colorado.
- Contributions to the Capital Campaign for High Plains Raceway are not tax-deductible.
- Every cent of your gift will be used to build High Plains Raceway; administrative and fundraising costs are being underwritten by CAMA.
- Because this it is a sprint rather than an enduro, the Capital Campaign for High Plains Raceway cannot accept pledges.
- Your contribution will be held in a restricted account, to be released only when "Construction Release Parameters" adopted by CAMA are met. These conditions are: the approval of a Use By Special Review for the project; closing on the land; procurement of 100% of the funding required for a usable facility; and the debt component of the budget not exceeding 1.6 million dollars.
For your further assurance, if the "Construction Release Parameters" are not met by 12/31/2008, 100% of your contribution will be returned to you.
